Nationwide Consumer Financial Services Company Leverages Integration With Cisco to Enhance Core Business Software With Help of Unified360

DALLAS, TX, October 13,2009 -- Unified360, a unified communications solutions provider, has signed Halo Group, Inc., a nationwide consumer financial services company based in Allen, Texas. Recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in America, Halo's internal software system was very powerful in many areas with the one exception being in voice integration. Since Halo's value is in proactively educating consumers on their financial future, communications is key for them.
"In late 2008, Halo began seeking solutions and tested models including a legacy telephone system where they found integration to be almost impossible and hosted service where they found access to the core VoIP infrastructure to be restrictive," stated Jim Barker, CEO of Unified360. "When we were introduced, Halo's core business system was very advanced and had much time spent in developing. We leveraged our integration team to work with Halo's to integrate with their software to provide a full circle solution."
The integration Halo and Unified360 put in place helped Halo automate many of their business processes while allowing Halo's core business system to remain their "core" system driving the others including email, phone system, automated dialing, faxes, etc. Keeping Halo focused on continual development of their core business system allowed them to continue to grow and prosper.
Unified360 also worked with Halo to increase their bandwidth for voice and data by leveraging their relationships with many telecom providers to get Halo the best cost structure with the most and best bandwidth possible. Leveraging SIP technology has allowed Halo to use remote market Virtual Telephone Numbers (VTNs) to provide more of a local presence for out of area clients while also decreasing their long-distance and other usage-based telecommunication costs.
